THE PECULIAR KIND WAS A DIRECT RESPONSE TO ALL THE UNTOLD QWOC EXPERIENCES WITHIN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, AND WITH NO REAL EXPECTATIONS (OR FUNDING/PRODUCTION RESOURCES) WE ARE OVERWHELMED AT HOW THE SERIES AND DOCUMENTARY CONTINUES TO IMPACT OUR COMMUNITY EIGHT YEARS LATER. WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR OUR CAST AND ALL THE LOVE AND HEARTFELT EMAILS THAT WE continue to RECEIVE. THE QPOC COMMUNITY HAS COME A LONG WAY IN EIGHT YEARS and BEING ABLE TO TALK ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCES WHILE STILL MANAGING TO FIND JOY IS SOMETHING WE CHERISH. tHANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO CREATE SOME SPACE.
